Many a times we search for the same set of words or corelated words which are similar and we just keep repeating it.  Let say you have a folder where  files gets automatically downloaded. You need to find what are the pdf files which was also downloaded.

So we type *.pdf and wait for the result and we do it every time. Vista gives you an alternate to it. whenever you search anything it allows you to save the search. Next time you want to do the same just hit the saved search icon.

This is basically another folder in vista which has a filter of *.pdf. Thus giving you the result quickly without you going to the foder and then firing the search.

Sending text message from yahoo messenger is what we have been doing from a long time but only when its installed on a computer.  But now with Messenger integrated withing yahoo inbox you can send text message to anybody by just pressing a T. 

It opens a new text message box which is similar to your new compose mail and it looks liek chat box. Now you can just input the  number and send the message. The text message service asks for your country name when you first try to use it.
