Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Essar have just confirmed the launch date of iPhone 3G in India.

Both cellular companies will start selling this much awaited phone
in India from August 22. Am still thinking whether or not to replace my
trusted BlackBerry Curve with an iPhone.

There’s no word on the pricing of the phone yet. Details on PTI and Mint.
